What to check before posting an AI image

A processed file still deserves a careful review before you share it.

Check the image itself

Inspect product shape, text, materials and any people in the image. File processing does not verify that a pictured product exists or correct inaccurate details. Use images that accurately represent what you sell or share.

Understand what processing changes

RemoveDog processes an image file before upload. It does not edit published posts or remove their existing labels, and it does not guarantee that a platform will stop identifying an image as AI-generated. Follow the destination platform’s disclosure rules.

Separate file information from platform labels

An EXIF or XMP field is part of the file. A label displayed by a platform belongs to its own publishing system. Removing source fields does not edit an existing post, remove a visible logo, validate authenticity or ensure that a classifier will accept an image.

Check the destination’s requirements

Some destinations require provenance fields to remain. Google Merchant Center, for example, requires AI-source metadata for generated images. Keep a compliant original or export for that destination. Review the current official policy and your publishing preview; an illustrative before/after slider is not evidence of a platform test.
